Question What Should i do
I have the choice of getting my friends gaming computer that he had built in 2005
Specs:
2GB Ram
200GB HDD
3.45 ghz processor
Windows Xp
I believe a fairly new / up to date graphics card

Or I go to new egg and buy Newegg.com - Acer Aspire AM1100-U1302A Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 1GB DDR2 250GB ATI Radeon X1200 IGP Windows Vista Home Premium - Retail
Get more RAM
And install a nice graphics card
note: the one from my friend would be virtually free...but i want something thatll get the job done

alright cool did you see i had a HD 2600XT graphics card the free rig and the graphics card combined could run what

Is his processor a Pentium 4 single core? Either way, if it is a free rig, why not use it and maybe just upgrade a few things. Better than buying a full new one.
