Default What kind of slot is this?

It is the yellow one that has the green and red rectangles around it. Is it AGP?

I don't know. I'm trying to help someone get a video card for their computer but they know absolutely nothing about computers so its hard to get information. I had him get CPU-Z to try to get the motherboard information out of that but it didn't give the right information.

I think I just found the motherboard on a website from the #'s on it. I found it at http://www.amptron.com/html/MB-U8668-D.html so he has a 4X AGP port.
So now my question is what graphic card would be best for him to get?

Will any AGP card that supports 4X and AGP 2.0 or higher work? And his budget is at most $75 - $100

well, agp 2.0 runs at 1.5V and 3.0 runs at .8 v, so the only real difference is the voltage, so a 4x card will run great, just lower voltage, and a 8X card will run ok, just higher voltage.

ATI x1300PRO 256MB 4X/8X - $93.99

Nvidia Geforce 6200 256MB 4X/8X - $69.99

seems all the tests that have compared the 2, the ati was a heartbeat faster than the 6200, but its almost $20 more, so i guess you can save 20 bux for almost the same performance

closest i can get without going over $100
