Want to upgrade. Need Help.
Hello everyone.
This is my computer
Newegg.com - HP Pavilion Elite M9150F(KC880AA) Core 2 Quad Q6600(2.40GHz) 3GB DDR2 720GB NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Windows Vista Home Premium - Desktop PCs
.
I want to get this
Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N975-AR GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
.
I need suggestions for a new PSU. The current PSU is 350w. I'm looking for a 500w that would fit.
Any help would be appreciated.

It should use a standard ATX PSU.

Re: Want to upgrade. Need Help.
Do you think this
Newegg.com - APEVIA ATX-CW500WP4 500W ATX Power Supply - Power Supplies
would work?
Or how about this
Newegg.com - Antec NeoPower 550 550W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies
.

Go for the 550W PSU. Having the extra power won't hurt at all.

Re: Want to upgrade. Need Help.
It should... if the PSU that is in there in ATX compliance then the 550W would fit... Find out what type of PSU it is and if it is an ATX PSU then your good as gold.
