| Want to add ram to a Dell Dimension 2400 Hey guys. So my roommate has this old Dell Dimension 2400 and it only has like a 128mb of RAM in it so its hella slow. I was just wondering what RAM off of newegg will be compatible with his machine so he can speed it up. Thanks!

Pick your poison. Depends on how much you wanna spend...Crucial's site says a max of 2GB for that model, though.

TG | Your math is a little bit off.... you either have 256 megs of ram, or 2x 256 meg sticks totaling 512 megs. |
