Default Vista on my new build?

Hey guys,

so i have the opportunity to get a full version of vista premium for 70 bucks and was wondering if it would run ok on my new system. i plan to game a bit (mostly rts like generals and C&C 3)

amd x2 3600+
2gb xms2 676mhz
7900gs

It will run just fine, on that system. It's more than the recommended system requirements.

i would recomed xp pro for one reason i have a pc repair buiseness and you wouldnt believe how much work we get fo vista pc's i would wait untill it gets a little more stable before getting it but thats just my opinion.

ok, fair enough. i was leaning xp anyway, but since im able to get vista cheap i gave it a second thought.

xp pro it is.

sounds good just wait for about 6 months to a year till you buy it so it gets bugs out
