I have both pci and agp slots. I have no idea about these things but want to be a able to use my tv as screen. I don't do any gaming i just want the cheapest one which will do the job. As i said i have no idea so suggestions are very helpful. Cheaper the better! Thanks

Before we go into hardware. If you are planning to read text off a TV screen, then you can't as the text is very blury due to the dot pitch on a TV is too large for text. I tried usign one before and the text looked like two lines. It is fine for watching movies though.

Unless you have replaced your TV with a PC monitor (I have) than you will not be doing much with it.
