| if your mobo has the right slot i dont think there should be a problem. however, you should watch to make sure that the new card does not need power or that you have a spare plug ((molex?)i think its called)----...whatever. point is, make sure you have one

| Heres the specs, sorry you dont have an agp slot. Seems a trend with Hp and Dell systems. They do that so you cant upgrade and instead purchase a new system....you might be best to buy a new system, (not a HP) (we can help you with one) rather than a PCI video card; but that all depends on what your graphical needs are. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...3&lc=en#N100EE

| Junior Techie | Oh my god. What a..nvm. Anyway, sorry bad news, upgrading video card would be a waste of money, seeing you have a weak processor and some crappy RAM. Without any open slots for video cards too. So I 'd advise you to save up your money and wait till you have enough money to buy a decent, new computer. If you don't know how to build computers, I recommend these three sites: http://buyxg.com http://cyberpowerinc.com http://ibuypower.com |

| Thanks guys for the help, I have decided to buy a new comp. This moves me into a new question. My main concern on a comp is gaming, I play eq mostly, some guildwars, I am about to try wow, and a few other games, and since these games continually come out with expansions and about every year or so they revamp their graphics, so what build/brand would afford me the most upgradeable options? Thanks again for the help on my first question. |
