| Hi guys currently I'm trying to upgrade my RAM. I currently have MSI 865PE Neo2 Mobo - Supports Dual Channel DDR 400/333/266 memory interface. Intel 2.8 Ghz 256 x 2 DDR PC3200 OCZ Ram (Dual Channel) eVGA 6600GT 128mb I want to upgrade my RAM, I'm planning on adding 512 x 2 DDR PC3200 to make it 1.5gb of Ram. But I've heard that having different memory of RAM as Dual Channel is unstable. So should I just buy 512 x 2 DDR PC3200 and replace my 256 x 2 DDR OCZ? Or adding it up to make 1.5gig is still stable? And is there any other specs I need to worry about (matching) when buying Dual Channel Ram? Thanks! |

| Wizard Techie | if you have 4 slots, then 2x256 and 2x512 will still run in dual channel, providing they are all in the correct corresponding slots. That's exactly what I'm doing right now in my PC Ryan
