Upgrading Memory/RAM question.

Okay I have a Sony Vaio VGC-RB30 that has 512mb of RAM

I also have another Sony Vaio model PCV-2242, this Sony is no longer in use, so I was wondering if I could take the RAM out of the 2242 and put it in my RB30 upgrading it to 1 gig.

I know how to do it, I just want to see if anyone here can tell me if the RAM is right and will be supported.

According to the other threads where other people asked similar questions, you shouldn't have any large complications.
