Question transfer HDD

I have a 40gb HDD set to master and a 160gb set to slave. I want to transfer all of the info on my 40gb (including XP) on to the 160. As I have a 200gb waiting to be put in. How can I go about doing this? Do i just copy C: (Master) and paste into F: (Slave)? I am concerned about deleting the files on C: after copying and such. How would i delete everything on C: while the computer is booting from C:? I know i have to switch the jumper settings but how would I delete the info? Its pretty confusing to me. Will XP even work after its transferred or will it just need to be reactivated? If you guys could help me or direct me with any helpful websites I would be grateful.

Thanks,
Tekie
