Default Toshiba or Gateway? Help me pick

Im going to be buying a new laptop tomorrow. But I dont know which one. Here are the two im looking at. Both are the same price and im not going to be paying any moore then $800. I will be using this for school, wireless internet, music and videos

Which is better and why?

PS: I plan on upgrading the gateway to 1gb of ram at some point if I got it. AND THESE ARE THE ONLY TWO IM LOOKING AT. So please dont post your thoughts on something else

Toshiba:

15" Screen vice 14
1GB RAM vice 512MB (Standard)
80GB drive 5400RPM vice 4600RPM
Full size keyboard.
plus a few odds and ends...

Plus, I also have a Toshiba (A75 S2111) and like it very much, also have good tech support with them.

Same thing... the Toshiba has the better parts vice the gateway. or versus...

The Gateway has a faster proc (x2 dual core) but I'd still lean towards the Toshiba. Higher end parts and better construction, Toshiba is a very good brand.

Toshiba, the gateway you would already have to upgrade the ram, dunno if its worth working on somethign you just bought/a new system : /

toshiba has beter parts and beter software u get lots wth the getaway but alot of it is trials get the toshiba hands down my buddy has the identical one and he loves it
