Default Thoughts on This Build?

Ok well my friend just got into building PC's, but he's on a budget, so here is what I recommended for him. He already has the following:

Case - Bought from local computer store, very sturdy.
Hard Drive - 80GB Western Digital 7200 RPM ATA133
CD/DVD - LITE-ON DVD-ROM drive 16x, CD-ROM 48x

Now here are the parts I recommended:

PSU - XCLIO 450W ATX DUAL 12V
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817189003

MoBo - Gigabyte GA-K8U-939 ATX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128307

RAM - Corsair ValueSelect PC3200 2x512MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145440

Video Card - eVGA 6600GT AGP 8x 128MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130220

Processor - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 939
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103537

Total comes to about $459. I figure that ain't too bad and he already is getting a Zalman VGA and HS so he can do some OC'ing.

Does that PSU look ok? It looks pretty stable and I like the fact it has dual 12V rails.

So does everything look ok and compatible?

Budget build, and AGP is still popular.

PCI-E isn't that much more. I would recommend PCI-E by far. Also the PSU I would definetly go with a little better brand. OCZ, Antec, Aspire, brands like that would be good. As far as your mobo though.... If you are on a budget I would suggest saving another 50 dollars and get a DFI LanParty Ultra-D nF4 and 939, man also PCI-E x2, its well worth it there excellent boards and, there only like I think down to about $120 on newegg now. I have one and I love it. Tell your friend to get a nice board. He won't regret it man.

PSU
Fortron 450W Link

Motherboard - PCI-E only like 20$ more
MSI K8N PCI-E Link

Video Card - PCI-E 6600GT
Evga 6600GT Link
W/ 20$ Rebate

There would be your best pci-e alternative for the price, in my opinion.

alright... since you guys are recommending motherboards and he said he had a case, but not what kind of case (atx, micro atx, ect) I'm guessing that all new mother boards are ATX and that no new micro's are coming out?
