Thinking of buying a new laptop
would mainly be used for surfing the web and some light gaming (asherons call) is there any laptops out there for under 800 us$ thanks

The Pentium M, performance, heat, and battery wise, is probably the best mobile proc out there (although the Turion 64 is getting very close).

If you're going to buy a laptop, Toshiba is the best one I have ever used. Just don't buy a dell.
If your really looking to get the best bang for you're buck, try looking on pricewatch.com! Awesome deals!!!

Pricewatch can be good, just be VERY sure you're working with a dealer who gets high reviews and make absolutely sure (even if you have to send emails) that you're getting what is advertised.
The laptop you posted looks like a good deal
