Well, it's a complex story, but I have a laptop with a few dead and stuck pixels.
The shop won't take it back unless it has 6 though, so I need to create some...

So, is there any way to do something like this? By stressing the lcd somehow?

Also, does anyone know a good laptop help irc channel I could go to?

haha... if you can get the plasticy protecting layer off of the monitor, and poke some pixels with a needle, that'd work, but I doubt my plan is even feasable without ruining the monitor.

maybe if you push on it with your finger ??? it leaves a mark maybe if you do it enough times it will kill the pixles ??

have you tried poking it? real hard? or maybe soft/medium hard on it will a pencil?
