Default TFT??? Buying a monitor off Ebay

I'm trying to buy a monitor, but I'm looking at some descriptions, and I don't understand.

I'm thinking about getting one of these two:

But what does TFT mean?

TFT= thin film transistors, almost all lcds are that. Those links arnt reponding but from the look of it they are 15 inch ones, which sucks really. Best is to go got a 17 inch one.

When looking for an LCD monitor things you want are a low reponse time and a high contrast ratio. Heres the one i bought recently and i love it

I like that 17", but I'm really considering a budget, I have a big monitor right now, and want something small.

Is this price worth it?
