Default switch power supply?

ok so I got two rp-550-2 sitting around but they have 18amps on 2 rails vs the rp-550 with 35a on 1 rail. But the rp-550-2 has better efficiency and a dedicated pci-express hookup while with the other one I have to use the adapter. What you guys think?

One 35a rail would be more efficient, wouldn't it? I don't know how the adapter plays into it, though. I don't think it should matter at all but I'm not the psu expert.

You are probably better off with the single rail than the dual rail system. On a multi rail power supply you end up losing amperage if you dont use it due to the splits.
