So my receiver an all my speakers total 1000watts. Its pretty powerful. I got it over christmas so its still pretty new. Its not as good as Bose of course but for video games and movies it kicks butt! Its not good for listening to music as the Bose I listened to but oh well.

So my question is what sound card is pretty good? I'm around under the $100 budget. My receiver only handles 5.1 channels so I don't need anything more than that.

I'll be using it for playing video games and watching movies on my computer. Well I mean thats the only thing it could be used for lol.

Is it true that the higher priced the sound card the better quality it can deliver? What are my choices that has both 5.1 and coaxial digital output?

I dont have a clue on how to buy sound cards.
