| I currently have a motherboard integrated video card with 512KB RAM, I don't know any other specs. And I have noticed that my wimpy little 900MHz processor tends to get maxed out constantly doing the simplest things like loading up a web page or loading and watching a youtube video. I was wondering if buying a cheap but modern video card that has at least 128MB of RAM would take pressure off of my CPU. I'm not sure how CPU's and Video Cards work. I suspect that a weak Video Card forces the CPU to take up the slack. Anyhow I just wanted to know if a modern video card would help lower how much CPU my computer uses for visual things such as watching a movie.

| True Techie | it would, since your comp is old just get a PCI video card and it should greatly reduce the lag or whatnot
