| Not familiar with the socket 775 mobo. Once the P4 is inserted in its socket how does the heatsink/fan fasten to the motherboard once placed onto the processor? I've always worked with the older socket 478 mobo where as the heatsink/fan have tabs (arms) which lock down the heatsink to the mobo. Thanks. |

| Junior Techie | What you do is line up the screws or pegs(whichever your heatsing comes with) with the 4 holes around the cpu socket. One at that point, somply screw it in or push it in, again depending on what kind of heatsink you have. Pushing it in takes a bit of work, be careful that you dont try to force it.
