i just put together a new computer and on someone recommended that i use a raid sata hd in it. i never set a raid sata system up. i've tried to see if i could get it up and running but no luck. the hd i got is Western Digital VelociRaptor 150GB. can someone tell me how i can get it up and running. thanks alot for all the help.

First of all an array is setup using two or more identical drives. What is seen there is a mirroring of one partition across multiple drives not simply the usual primary seen on a single drive whether ide or sata.
