Default replacing a laptop monitor

I have a question about replasing a laptop monitor, since mine has a dead backlight.

15.4" Anti-Glare WXGA LCD (1280 x 800)
this is what i have right now

if i find another monitor on internet (without the monitor case or anything so i can put inside the old monitor case replacing the old one) that is the same size wxga and everything, will the plug fit?

Are the wxga plugs standard? for laptops?
