I already have a Hiper 580W PSU and am going to use all my existing drives. The only thing I'm not sure about is the memory. I intend to overclock eventually, but do I really need the XMS?

What other can you recommend? My budget was around $800, so with the rebates that's pretty close.

Keep with the good memory. If you want ot OC a lot you may want to consider the Dominator series ($30 more)

I am already outraged by the price of memory, so spending even more is out of the question (I was hoping to go cheaper, not more expensive lol). Any O/C I do will be moderate at best, just to get as much as I can out of the E6400 with the stock cooler so I donÂ’t need the top RAM.

Any other feedback on the rest of the build?

If you want to save a little money, go with a E6300 and
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ for $210 or the DDR2 667 version of the ram you picked.
