Default ram slots question

its properbly nothing but on my motherboard i have 2 black ram slots and 2 blue slots. Does this mean anything

I have 1 x 1GB PC3200 module and 1 x 512MB PC3200 module in my black slots and my blue slots are empty.

If you put two of the same modules in the black slots, they will run in dual-channel mode. Same applies to the blue slots.
