ok i have 2 512 sticks of ram in my pc now, but i wanna upgrade to 2 gigs, i know 2 gig sticks is better than 4 512 sticks, but is it enough to warrant buying 2 gig sticks? or will i be ok just gettin another 2 512?
Ive actually heard it was better to have 4 sticks of 512 then 2 1gig sticks. Specially if you are doin dual channel. 2 dual channel sets is better then one

If you can't afford two gig sticks, go for the two 512's. Two gigs is still two gigs, even if four sticks will be so many millionths of a second slower.
