Should I buy thermalpaste to put on the cpu? Also should I buy a better cpu fan? Thanks

It's up to you if you want to buy an after market cooler for your CPU. Anything from Zalman is good.
As for the thermal paste, the C2D comes with a thermal pad so paste isn't necessary but some people suggest you take the pad off and put some Artic Silver 5 on.
