Hello everyone; in short I need a larger power supply so I can support 2 Harddrives plus my other hardware. How much power should I need? I currently have a 300W one that came with my case. Below listed are my computer specs. thank you for your help.

CPU: AMD Athlon 2600
RAM: 768MB Ram
Mobo: AOpen AK79D-Max 400
Graphics: ATI Radeon 9600se
Harddrive 1: Seagate Baracuda 7200.7 80GB
Harddrive 2: Generic 40GB (Pulled from another computer)
2 LED Fans
MSI CD-RW Drive and floppy drive

This is what I can think of in major that will affect the power.

Funk you don't need that good of a psu for his system. Get this. It is a lot cheaper and will be perfect for your system.

It's only 30 after mail in reabte and it is a good psu. 430watts is plenty for your system.

Yes FSP makes better psu's then thermaltake, but for his system he doesnt need a super powerfull psu. The thermaltake psu will do him fine. I like the FSP Group psu also tho. That si the one i am getting for my new rig, but if he doesn't want to spend $0 just get the thermaltake one. It got great reviews too.
