Why does it matter how many watts u have? whuts the diff between the low and high wattz?

Well, the watts doesn't matter that much...It's the amps that you should be concerned about. Even if you have 1000 watts, if the amps aren't on the right rails +3v, +5v. +12v, the psu is useless. The most important one is the +12v rail, the more amps on that, the better.

If your system uses a lot of power you're going to want a PSU with more watts so it can supply it with the power it needs.

But yeah, as stated above amps are really important as well.
