I just built a system with the 3200+ AMD 64 Venice, will buy a Dual core processor down the road.

well, depending on what you are using it for, i guess the better CPU would be one that has higher L2 cache, and higher stock speed. Also how much a CPU can Overclock. if ur a pretty satisifed wit the 3200+ i would suggest a x2 3800+. or even x2 4400+
