I heard that you can have a graphics card thats pci express 2.0 x16 and a motherboard that has pci express x16. I want to know whats going to happen, like a huge lost in game play, or not going to look as great, that sort of stuff. Motherboard: Newegg.com - Intel BOXDG35EC LGA 775 Intel G35 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards Graphics card: Newegg.com - EVGA 384-P3-N966-TR GeForce 9600 GSO 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards plz help.

A PCI-e 2.0 card will work fine in a PCIE x16 motherboard.

look at my sig. i have a 9800gtx with a pentium D. and i get 30fps in crysis settings on high an 1680x1050 and a mobo that does 8x pci-x speed
