| As we all know, Christmas is right around the corner, and I really need a PC upgrade. System as of now: AMD Semperon 3000+ 512 RAM nVIDIA GeForce 4MX 64 MB 120 GB HDD I don't need much, all I want to run well is Counter-Strike: Source, I could care less about these DirectX 10 games, my only wish is to run about 60-80 FPS on the Stress Test with decent settings. The only issue is, I have about a 300$ budget, if yall can work out a system that will run CS:S well at that budget and post me the parts, I will forever love you, and mail you some chocolate chip cookies around Christmas once I make them! Thanks! |

| Here is a list of decent cards, starting with the cheapest and moving up: Radeon X1650 GT Radeon HD 2600 XT GeForce 8600 GT Radeon X1950 PRO GeForce 7900 GS I guess just go with what you can afford, but seeing as how you're on such a tight budget, you'll likely be getting the cheap one, and even that was $75 last time I checked. |
