just got a used computer
tried to see what video card is in there but cant find any signs of it

tried dxdiag and under display everything is empty

Is the video port on the motherboard?

Then you have integrated video. You dont have a dedicated video card.

since it's integrated, it's not going to take you far. especially if it's used... That means it's not the top of the line intel integrated graphics. You'll need to find out what type of expansion slots you have to see what you can upgrade to.
