any comments or opinions on the company Gateway (desktops)?

i bought a acer last year and they had the worst warranty service ever- wouldnt give warranty to my broken computer through a loophole. I am afraid that gateway might pull something similar

Just make yourself happier and save some money and build one yourself, these forums have countless people that will be willing to set you up with builds and go step by step to help you put it together.

Save money get a way better computer that you can upgrade in the future.
