Default OLD emachines question/upgrade

my parents have a old emachines im pretty sure its the eMachines etower 700irx PC Desktop its awfully slow at around 666mhz with 64mb or ram, i slapped in another 128mb stick, and i was just wondering what socket this celeron processor would be? im guessing the 370 but im not sure, i was just going to drop a few bucks so it runs some basic programs better is 1.4 ghz the max for this socket?

could be a 478. if its a D it goes to 3.2GHz. if an M 1.5GHz. look on newegg.
