Default Old Chaintech S1689 needs a bios

I have an old Chaintech S1689 motherboard. A few years ago I needed to update my BIOS because of hardware compatibility issues I can't remember anymore. The BIOS that Chaintech supplied me with did not work and it is as dead as a doornail. I built a new machine at the time, but I was wondering if I could still flash it without hotswapping BIOS's. Aside from possibly ruining two mobo's I don't have a second one. Does anyone if the S1689 has any recovery feature I may have missed? Or do I need to just find another board?

(P.S. Sorry if this is not in the right forum, I didn't see any BIOS forum and it's pretty close to hardware.)
