| Ultra Techie | i just recently bought a gigabyte ga-965p-ds3 which is 965 and the p35 is going to overtake it. and the new cpu won't be supported 965 oh no did i waste my money? oh no there is going to be ddr3 which my motherboard also won't support. should i buy a p35 motherboard soon?

| Don't buy it unless you need it. If you were planning on buying a new CPU, you should have bought it in the first place. At this point, just wait until you upgrade since the price will come down and new - better models will be released. DDR3 isn't mature yet. Cost too much and not very fast.
