I need some oddbits for my system.

Soon i'll be upgrading my cpu from a Sempron 2800+ Socket 754 to a AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Socket 939.

What i wanted to know was for now, whats your best ideas on cooling, what fans or other cooling systems would you recommend and what wattage power supply shoulkd i upgrade to getting ready for the mobo and processor.

By the way i already have 2 HDD IDE, 2 Optical drives, 1 SATA drive.

You have or are going to have a lot of hard drives and optical drives, I suggest a good PSU some where between 500 to 600W would be efficient. Don't go cheap on PSU or you'll end up paying for it later when it fries your system. Look for a decent price between $50 to $100. Something with 1 fan would be my suggestion because it's much more quiet than a 2 fan PSU.

Basically if you don't want to trouble yourself with liquid cooling, you can go with fans and buy a fan controller that can turn the fans on and off and has speed control. So when you need it you can turn it on, adjust the speed for maximum cooling or when you need it to be quiet turn it off or adjust it lower.

There are easy liquid cooling kits you can do yourself from http://www.zalmanusa.com/ but are expensive and not really recommended if you don't know what you are doing, else you might just destroy your system.
