Exclamation Not getting 100% hard drive capacity

Hey, i just built my new system...everythings set up...i went to install windows..and it said that my hard drive capacity is only about 131GB when i have a 250GB hard drive. could it be maybe the sata plug i picked? jumpers? firmware?...im completly stumped...it's never happened to me before. thanks for anything!

neither have i. one problem though..the link to the fix in the topic is broken...because the forums insert a "..." in the link to save space...page cannot be displayed.
