Mr Computer

Thumbs down No Printer Socket

Hi, I just bought a new laptop. Where the printer socket should be, you know the thing that the pins stick into, about 2 holes deep by 15 long, there is just a socket-shaped hole in the body of the computer, with a bit of plastic across it.

What do I need to do to get my computer able to print and how much will it cost?

thanks

Does it have USB ports?

By the way, I think thats called a parrallel port, which is super old, and most computer connect to printers via USB these days.

ah yes, a paralell port, AKA DB-25, or LPT1
it is quite old, and it might not be there because the manufacturer decided it was obsolete.

you can get a paralell to USB connector so you can use an older printer on USB
