Default New vid card

I was looking at some vid cards and saw some with both a VGA and a DVI. I was wondering if you can hook up 2 monitors and get a double wide display like ive seen on my friends computer. can this be done or do you need to get two cards?
thanks

Depends on the card. My video card has two ports like that, and only supports one monitor at a time. We would have to know what card you have in mind to see if it can do dual monitor.

Yes, how much are you planning to spend and what are you using it for?
