Default New PCI-E VIdeo card suggestions?

I'm looking to spend around 100-150 on a new video card, doesn't have to be really good or anything but I don't want junk like what's on my MOBO, I was looking at this video card on at Circuit City its only 100 bucks, what you guys think of this card, or any other suggestions, I broke my other PCI card I had trying to put a better fan on it -.-.

Buy the eVGA e-GeForce 8500GT 512MB PCI-E Video Card and other Computer video & TV tuner cards at circuitcity.com

I also have a question, will a video card with DDR3 VGA ram run on a motherboard that only supports up to DDR2 ram in the DIMM Slots?

Yes, the video card memory has nothing to do with system memory. ddr3 just came out, and not even anyone here uses it yet.

Decided I needed to buy a better video card, the onboard one, well my videos I watch tend to hang pretty often and then after a few seconds catch back up (play the video fast til it catches up where it should be) while the sound keeps playing normally, not to mention my framerate in video games on occasion drops dramatically for a few seconds every once in awhile.

If you dont mind spending a bit more Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N801-AR GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

Its a good card and will play all current games (most high)

or if your not a gamer.

Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N751-TR GeForce 8600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

But ricanflow card would be just fine for videos and light gaming and he will probably sell cheap

The 8500gt is perfect for that, and even supports hd playback.
