im thinking of getting a new monitor. an would like your opnion on these one.

I'd go with the ViewSonic. What is your budget? We might be able find a way better one that fits your budget to.

right now its only about $200.00 to $250.00. i was told by someone to look for a good Contrast Ratio. an a good Response Time. is that true?

Yeah that's what you want to look for. I think ViewSonic has one with a 2ms response time at an 800:1 contrast ratio. Lemme check the price.

But it turns out that its a 650:1 ratio. I'm not sure exactly how much the contrast ratio effects the apearance, and you can't exactly go into Circuit City to see them or anything because they just feed all the monitors a crappy signal that makes them all look terrible.

Do you understand response time though?
