Default New Hard drive (which one)

I am from the UK
I need a new hard drive and not sure which one to get this is my motherboard details and existing hard drive.

Board: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. 8IG1000MK 1.x
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. FD 11/05/2003

Maxtor 6E040L0 [Hard drive] (41.11 GB) -- drive 0, s/n E1PA179E, rev NAR61590,

i would like ideally a 80Gig drive but i dont know which ones i can use.

I can't really find that motherboard... What CPU do you have, as this will narrow it down.

All IDE harddrives are guarenteed to work. Western digital and seagate are the most reliable ones out there.

If you have a more modern PC than you can have a SATA harddrive, which will give you a small, but none the less a increase in speed.

it is a 2.80 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4

I think you can have SATA harddrives as well.
