| New Hard Drive Hello everyone, I'm in the market for a second drive for my gaming computer, as my available space seems to be running low. I currently have one IDE hard drive and one CD/DVD drive connected to separate cables. What would be the best/easiest/cheapest way to go about adding another drive? Should I just add another IDE drive in a master/slave config? I've also read that it is possible to add an SATA drive along side an IDE drive, would this be the better option?
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. | This is exactly what i have I had a 320GB IDE and got a 160 SATA from CompuUSA for $70 after rebate (about a year ago). I loaded the OS on the SATA and it is a lot faster and runs so quite! I have not been happier with the performance and I would recommend this approach.
Good Luck! |
