Hey guys. Just wondering which graphics card I should get (I'll be getting a 550W PSU so power isn't an issue).

A Sapphire radeon X1600 PRO

I want to be able to play the newest games (battlefield 2, Half-life 2). Will either of these cards deliver the performance?

The reason I don't really want a card like a 7900 GT or an X1900XTX is because of Vista and DX10 coming out, and then having to fork over more $$$ for a card that supports DX10.

I have to 4th the vote for the 7600GT. That should hold you off untill DX10 comes out.

in canada, im guessing a GT woould start out at $450, probably less, prices keep going down. where in Ontario? i live in toronto.
