hello. I haven't built a computer in years, and my friend recently asked me to assemble one for him. he wants a gaming computer, and I would your opinion on this assemblage. i mainly want to know if everything is compatible. thank you.

The power supply is junk, I suggest you look into the power supply guide linked in my signature.

Well, depending on your budget you will need more than just that one GB of ram, also, go with an Intel solution because AMD just won't perform anywhere close to Intel as far as game performance and overall cpu performance. Get the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard with an E7200 processor and that will easily outperform the AMD setup. It will cost more, though, so once again, we need to know your budget.

Other than that, make sure you have an operating system, and as Ste said, look into a different power supply.

u still need an operating system...I'm actually in a similar boat. I have a budget of about $850 (all i need is the tower) and am looking to get the best bang for my buck while still getting a good gaming PC.
