Default New Computer Build

Hi, this is my first build and i was wondering if everything is compatible, im especially worries that my CPU fan is to big.

Case: X-Clear Acrylic Computer Case at Xoxide!

No problem with the CPU fan. The Blue Orb II is only 66mm high.

I would most definitely recommend a better video card for that much money.

By "2 of them" does that mean " 2 x 6Gb kits? As in 12Gb? What do you plan on using this for, since 12 Gb is probably going to be overkill.


I'd go for 6Gb RAM and upgrade this to something decent like suggested earlier, a GTX260 or a 4890. The 9600 is going to be an important bottleneck if you plan on doing any gaming.

I concur with the above about the graphics card and RAM. Also, what about the rest of your system? And why are you using TigerDirect???

Yeah, i noticed it would be a bit overkill, but i got 2000$ to build it with i figured i should build it as good as i can with it.

(i didn't know it really mattered where i got it from that's why im using tiger direct.)

Ok thank you for all your help, but i got my case so that i can make my computer look extremely pretty dose anyone know a good place to find Lights and Stuff.
