Default need help with cheap build...

need help making budget build of $550-600...right now using 5 year old dell with:
P4 2.0 ghz
768 mb ram
ATI 9550 AGP 4X
40 gb HDD

would like new build to be able to game somewhat since this thing can still run cod4 on low

x1950pro or x1900gt or hd3850 if ur budget allows
x2 3600+ Brisbane with a Tforce550 or a e2180 with a abit ip35-e
Coolermaster Centurion 5 (or a case of ur preference)
250gb HD (or sized HD u want)
Arctic Freezer Pro64 for AMD or the Pro7 for the Intel
Xclio 550w
Patriot Extreme 2gb Kit

15... i lack the cash to start a business.. or buy the parts but i could always ripoff people by charging a bit extra for assembly hehe

Now, this has to do with cheap PCs as well,
I was wondering, if you have a IDE optical, and IDE hdd, do you need 2 IDE connectors, and if so, link to a board that supports that? I was thinking this board, but it only has one IDE and I thought I might need 2...

I think that you can just link the two devices in paralell. But you would need to set one to master and one to slave.

thats what I thought, which would be master? the drive? it will be the boot drive...

to save money you could use the same monitor and get ubuntu which is free (but kind of annoying to use) or vista home premium
