Seems like an even better deal. I'm not sure what the low FSB of 800 on the processor I linked to initially in the original post actually means, but i'm trying to score the best deal here. What would having a low FSB on the 2.4gb dual core processor mean? I know that it has something to do with how fast the cpu communicates with the ram, but does it really have tha great of an impact?

as far as the FSB, yes it has an impact. you can always overclock

I ran into a little bit more money and already ordered the 2.53 dual core processor with 2 gigs of ram. Could I replace the card with a 9800 GTX and power it with my measily 480 watt psu? The card is so cheap

Not if the PSU is a crappy brand... There are some great 450w PSU's that can do it (high quality ones) and there are some crappy 800w ones that can't do it
