Default My upgrades --> your thoughts

I have upgraded my computer and this is what i have got and am gettting:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131540

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103533
I went with that cpu rather then the 3700 because i read reviews that said the 1ghz l2 cache only makes it run hotter in overclocking situations and it dosent really help much more for 30 extra bucks

All good except the video card is xfx.. tends to run hot especially when overclocking.
Bad customer service

edit:// what type of psu do you have?
You're going to need a fairly good one.

If you are a hardcore gamer you want to look into 2gbs of RAM. BF2 and FEAR take all the RAM they can get. As for the video card, the 7800GT is great. Look into a different company like eVGA. XFXs are known to have problems. If your going to OC later on down the road, look into the DFI Ultra-D.

If you can afford it, go with this PSU . That will power your system very nicely. Even if XFX hasnt had too many problems latley, do you really want to risk $300 on a company that has a rep of overheating? They may look cool but you wont really see when its in the case anyways.
