What I'm guessing that you're asking is if you can use an ATI graphics card with an Asus mobo that has a Nvidia chipset, right?

The answer is yes. I'm not aware that Nvidia would block out ATI cards on their chipset. That would be bad for business because they make killer chipsets, but some people don't prefer their graphics cards over ATI.

The ATI mobo chipsets aren't that great.

I'd steer clear of them until they get it down pat.

That'll work just fine. Nvidia makes solid chipsets.
